I got myself thinking that I should write in English about London, especially to my friend Rumiko.
My view of London was highly influenced by the fact that it was the last city I visited in a 3 week vacation in a very strong winter (it was snowing in every day in every city I visited in the last 10 days). Because I love tropical temperatures, it can have influenced my perception.
I first arrived around 15hs in Victoria bus st. and I walked to Waterloo's, where I was going to meet Becky, my Englisth friend from Santander. We were going to head together to her friend's Tom, where we stayed for the next 3 days.
This first walk was great. I was so happy to first see London Eye, and my heart has beaten stronger when I saw Big Ben and the Parliament building where it is. But then Iwas tired, it took forever for Becky to arrive, we couldn't head straight to her friend's, I had two backpacks, we went to a pub, we didn't talk much, people don't talk much in pubs, in England, it seems.
The second day I went to Camlot market, recommended by Rumiko. First thought: it is wonderful to have good friends that really knows you. It was indeed the perfect place for me to go. Another amazing, but funny feeling is that I thought Becky was kind of different, but then I realized she was in England just acting as an English and that Spain makes them more cheerful. One is oneself in his/er environment. We had dinner together with her friend and then went to a pub, but didn't talk much either.
The tird day I decided to walk by myself, but the metro st. close to our place was closed and the whole system was a mess, crowd, slow, so it took me forever to go to a couple of places. I ended up going to the Sherlok Holmes' museum; Mme. Taussaud's and Natural History Museum. It was really nice and I loved going to all these places, it was just too crowd, too gray and too lonely. I mostly think I liked the places I have seen in the city, I just didn't like the English in their environment: too formal, too melancholic. I missed a cool environment (and not only wheather related), to laugh, to chat. It was a sand end to very nice vacations.

I am so glad to hear you liked Camden Market. It is one of my favourite places in London. I wish I had been there with you! Did you go to Covent garden?
It was a shame that you didn't seem to feel comfortable being with your friend...
If you had stayed there more than 3 days and visited in summer, you would have had a better impression.
Yes, I have been to Covent garden! I didn´t have time to check many shops, but it was nice just walking around.
Actually I wasn´t able to make my point regarding my friend, I love her, she is really nice, just that English people are culturally the opposite as Brazilians, I think, and we need to cheer ourselves more to enjoy, as opposite as them...
I see your point.
That's why I like Brazilians so much. I will never forget how my friends, their friends and family treated me when I went to Brazil.
Most importantly, you are one of the most wonderful people I have ever known.
